Starting a Social Enterprise

This workshop is for those who have a social enterprise idea, who want to learn more about how to start developing it. This workshop will cover:
· The importance of starting with a social or environmental purpose
· Social Enterprise business models and how to start developing one
· Testing your idea with customers, and
· Consider next steps.

These free Ākina Foundation workshops are suitable for new startup and existing organisations that are looking to explore or build social enterprise. Social enterprises are mission-driven organisations that trade to achieve social or environmental impact.
Ākina Foundation workshops combine the knowledge of experienced facilitators with practical tools and peer learning. The Ākina Foundation’s mission is grow the emerging social enterprise sector in New Zealand.
