This workshop is for leaders of not-for-profit organisations who want to explore the process and challenges of starting social enterprise. Participants will:
· Explore motivations for social enterprise
· Learn from other not-for-profits interested or engaged in social enterprise
· Understand the challenges and identify opportunities, and
· Consider next steps.

These free Ākina Foundation workshops are suitable for new startup and existing organisations that are looking to explore or build social enterprise. Social enterprises are mission-driven organisations that trade to achieve social or environmental impact.
Ākina Foundation workshops combine the knowledge of experienced facilitators with practical tools and peer learning. The Ākina Foundation’s mission is grow the emerging social enterprise sector in New Zealand.
