Hamilton Jazz Society presents the Good Oil Band

The Hamilton Jazz Society are delighted to present in concert the Good Oil Band with Katrina King on vocals.

Good Oil was formed in 2006 by Dave Peryman and quickly established a solid playlist of jazz/blues and easy-listening covers and original music. Our name, Good Oil, represents our love for red wine and the smooth sounds that we play.
The band currently has six members: Dave Peryman on Keyboards/ Vocals, Katrina King on Vocals, Keith Rowlands on Drums, Peter Jackson on Bass, Simon Berry on Saxophone and Luca Cipolletta on Jazz Guitar. All have a long and varied musical history - from rock, blues and jazz to opera and musical theatre!
We have a repertoire of over 20 original songs, written primarily by Dave Peryman, plus an extensive list of well-known blues and jazz covers from the greats like Burt Bacharach, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Eric Clapton, Diana Krall, and Amy Winehouse.
We are regular performers at the annual Bay of Islands Jazz and Blues Festival and have played at numerous other festivals and venues including Mission Bay and Whangamata Jazz/Blues Festivals, and Coopers Creek Winery and Sky City.
We are passionate about our music, and love to play live and to entertain at corporate or personal events, bars, restaurants, and festivals.

Do join us. It is a great way to relax and unwind to some quality music at the end of the weekend.
Dinner, snacks, and beverages are available for purchase from the Club.
