Programme details to follow each month

13 October

This Friday's concert is to be given by cellist James Yoo and his wife Rosemary Song. James is the winner of this year's University of Waikato Concerto Competition, and is currently a postgraduate student at the Waikato University Conservatorium of Music with cello specialist James Tennant. James also has an illustrious history of cello studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and with another of the world's famous cello teachers, Maria Kliegel in Cologne (who holds a cello position in the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra).

Rosemary Song is a beautiful pianist, who trained at the Sydney Conservatorium and in Germany, and she has a string of credits to her name.

This will be a most beautiful and colourful programme with Bach, Shostakovich and De Falla. A rare treat, not to be missed!
