“Frauenliebe und Leben - A Woman’s Love and Life”

As a special afternoon treat, preceding the inaugural 'Conservatorium of Music German Lieder Festival and Workshops', soprano Stephanie Acraman and pianist Penelope Cashman will entrance audiences with a collection of art songs on the theme of ‘a woman’s journey through love and life’. The featured work in the afternoon’s offerings is Schumann’s celebrated song cycle “Frauenliebe und Leben”. The programme will also include works around the same theme by Rachmaninov, Dvořák and Granados.
