Allegiance written by Mary Kenny produced by Hamilton Playbox Rep Soc Inc
Irish writer and historian Mary Kenny's dramatised interpretation of the unlikely friendship between Statesman Winston Churchill and Irish rebel Michael Collin at a meeting in 1921. Collins was sent to London for secrete negotiations with the British Government. The two distinctly disliked each other until one night Churchill invited the Sein Fein leader to his home for a drink. Here Kenny captures the uneasy respect between two giants of Anglo-Irish history.
