The Cambridge Autumn Festival is an arts focussed event with a variety of dance, music, vocal and visual arts. Musically, it covers opera, jazz, burlesque, french cafe and chamber music, and modern songs by young performers. The visual arts are represented by painters and many other creative workers. There will be an art workshop and a workshop on playing steel drums. The Festival includes a horror movie screening on Friday 13th. The venues include the historic St Andrews Church and the Cambridge Town Hall.
The Main Street Carnival on Sunday 15th April brings out street performers, buskers, dancers, artists and creative people like woodworkers and quilters.The Festival supports local organisations and charities in fund raising activities.
Many events are free or minimal cost.
