Learn more about the proposed Waikato Regional Theatre

Momentum Waikato and Creative Waikato invite you to learn more about the proposed Waikato Regional Theatre.

This is your invitation to share your opinions and ideas.
As you are aware, there are exciting times ahead for the Waikato Regional Theatre project, and Momentum Waikato is committed to hearing the voice of the region as the project progresses to the next stage of design and planning.

A comprehensive feasibility report for a new Waikato Regional Theatre was presented in August, recommending a river-facing performing arts centre with flexible functionality.

This is your chance to give feedback that will be taken into the next stage of the design process – the concept design phase. We need to know if this proposal is right for the community, and we want to understand what it is going to take for this facility to be truly transformational for the region.

Momentum Waikato and Hamilton City Council have recently agreed to fund the next stage. So this is the perfect time to come and have your say.

This roadshow is your opportunity to shape both the future of the Waikato arts sector and what will potentially be the cornerstone for regional growth in the creative sector. Please join us for a brief presentation, meet some of the team, and have a chance to ask your questions, giving your feedback to us directly.

This is a proposal which is relevant to everyone in our community. Please feel free to distribute this email to your friends and networks. If you are unable to make these sessions, we would love to hear your feedback via our website, where you can also find the full Feasibility Report.
