F R A N K T O N

Is a celebration of Frankton as a centre of creativity and the arts.

Like life, art is not a thing at all, but a continuously evolving process. Objects may be produced/reduced/transformed/transitioned, or missing altogether - which might be something of challenge to those of you who subscribe to the notion that aesthetics involves mentally decoding symbolic forms.

Featuring a range of both established and emerging artists who are at the forefronts of their fields, their presence at the opening will create opportunities for dialogue, spontaneity and play between each other, yourselves, and other realms of being. Afterwards, is only residue.. or something.

The artists are:

Zena Elliott
Lēafa Wilson
Gaye Jurisich
Ruth Hickman
Stuart Bridson, with Logan Dinning and Joe Citizen
Georgia Ransfield
Chenoa Dawn

with interactive sound compositions by Reece Gielen
