WSA - Adult Creative Writing

Students will learn the art of writing compelling stories with engaging characters. The three act story structure will be explored in depth, as well as creating a good protagonist/antagonist relationship. The choice will be given to write either short or long format pieces. If students wish to work on a long format piece, they will focus on outlining and planning their story while writing specific, pivotal moments.

Both pros fiction and dramatic writing (script writing for film/theatre) can be incorporated. Students will be encouraged to find their own voice and individual style.
