Creative Waikato administers funding rounds on behalf of Hamilton City Council and Creative New Zealand for art projects taking place in the Hamilton area.

The closing dates for 2020 are:

New Fund focusing on arts in the regions to open in 2020

Creative New Zealand's new fund, Nga Toi a Rohe, Arts in the Region Fund is set to open in March 2020.

Regional Community Funding Workshops 2020

Is your community group looking for funding?

Come along to a free friendly "hands on" workshop presented by local community funders.

Topics include: funding tips for beginners, planning and preparation, what makes a successful application, budgeting, accountability and reporting, how decisions are made, and other possible income sources.

Hamilton workshops will be held:
