Creative Waikato administers funding rounds on behalf of Hamilton City Council and Creative New Zealand for art projects taking place in the Hamilton area.

Waikato Community Funding Expo 2017
a one-day only event

The Waikato Community Funding Expo is returning!   12pm to 7pm on Wednesday 8 March 2017.

The venue is the Hamilton Gardens Pavilion, Cobham Drive, Hamilton. There are a number of free workshops available throughout the afternoon. No booking required - first come, first served basis. There will also be a number of stall holders present to talk to one-on-one about your funding needs.

Regional Community Funding Workshops 2017

Is your community group looking for funding?

Come along to a free friendly "hands on" workshop presented by local community funders.
Topics include: funding tips for beginners, planning and preparation, what makes a successful application, budgeting, accountability and reporting, how decisions are made, other possible income sources. 

These workshops run throughout the Waikato region from February to September 2017.

Growing Great Volunteer Teams

Another great workshop from Exult - Helping Non-Profits Grow.

In this workshop you will lean what drives people to get involved and discover simple strategies for keeping them engaged and on-board. Get more people helping out more often, with more fun and more impact.

When: Wednesday 15th March 2017, 9.30am - 4pm.

Where: Sport Waikato, Brian Perry Sports House, Akoranga Road, Hamilton

Cost: $120 per person. (Tonic Subscribers and members of Volunteering Waikato receive a 10% discount)
