Māori customs immersion for Creative Waikato team

Creative Waikato team members Paul, Craig, Adrienne and Michelle recently attended Te Tauihu at Wintec in Hamilton. Sarah and Era will be taking the course in 2018.

Te Tauihu is a module course in Māori customs. The team opted for the 4-day immersion course, based at the beautiful Te Kōpu Mānia o Kirikiriroa Marae on City Campus. The module builds capability in tikanga and te reo through teaching and learning in a bi-cultural context. The experience of Te Tauihu provided support and encouragement for the team in day to day work.
